Latest Cinnamon Creek News...

2011 Dues Notices were sent out in December 2011 via e-mail and regular mail.  Dues are paid in arrears meaning that 2011 Dues notices don't get sent out until late in the year.  In future years, I intend to get these statements out in Oct.  I had computer issues this year which delayed dues statements until December.  We all pay property taxes in March and July so I try to keep the dues statements away from those months.

Lots of comments were received when dues were mailed back.  I appreciate all the comments, positive and negative!!!  Several comments requested a 2011 Cinnamon Creek Financial Report.  That's being worked on and the report will be sent out in the next newsletter.

A word regarding enforcement of covenants.  We don't go looking for covenant violations, we rely on homeowners reporting violations to us, which you can send to cinnamon_creek_hoa@yahoo.com.  We realize covenants are important because ultimately the appearance of your home and homes around you can affect the value of your home.  

When reporting violations, make sure you are familiar with the covenant (on this web site).  We need to know the specific violation, and the address of the home involved.  We will try to keep anonymous those who report.

OK, enough of the negative talk...

The vast majority of the neighborhood does a GREAT job of maintaining the GREAT appearance of Cinnamon Creek neighborhood and I appreciate all of you for doing this.  I am very proud to live in this neighborhood - I hope you feel the same!!! 

We like new ideas for the neighborhood.  If you have an idea for an event for the neighorhood, let us know.  We will help but need you to take charge of your idea.
