Our Cinnamon Creek neighborhood has over 500 homes.   Instead of trying to organize a neighborhood wide party for a couple thousand people we are empowering you to gather your neighbors and hold a block party on your street or cul-de-sac.   

This is intended for you to spend some time with your neighbors and maybe get better acquainted with some of the neighbors you don’t see very often.    We want it to be a family fun get together.   We are sponsoring $50 per party and we want you to spend it on things for either kids or something everyone can enjoy to make your party fun.

Here are the rules that we have set up.

1.       Each block party request must be made by a homeowner in Cinnamon Creek

2.       A list of homeowner’s names and address invited to the block party must be provided to the CCHOA.   We encourage you to invite as many of your neighbors as possible.

3.       The $50 must NOT be used to purchase alcohol, tobacco, or dangerous materials

4.       The CCHOA reserves the right to reject requests for block party sponsorship for any reason and to amend the rules as needed.

5.       You are allowed 1 block party request per year.

6.       We will only sponsor 1 block party for the same general area.   For example if Neighbor A lives on one side of the street and holds a block party and the CCHOA approves the sponsorship, neighbor B from across the street or next door will not be able to submit a request for the same neighbors.    We will review the list of addresses provided to make this determination.

7.       A minimum of 8 homeowners must be invited for a block party

You may block off a part of your street by getting permission from Douglas County.

·         Block Party Organizer Name, Address, Phone Number, email address

·         A list of  (8) homeowner’s names and address that will be invited.

·         Number of children invited to the party

·         The date and time of the block party

The block party sponsorships are intended to encourage you to get together with your neighbors and have a family fun environment.  

Submitting a request for sponsorship will serve as an acknowledgment and agreement to the above set of rules.
